Working out has become a huge part of my life, for me exercising is therapeutic. Moving around so often can be quite stressful so in order to keep my sanity I choose to work out and release all stress/ anxiety. While traveling I also like to stay active and fit in some work outs that way I won’t feel so guilty while I pig out… because lets be honest who enjoys being on a diet or limiting your self while on vacation? Specially when you go to an all inclusive…Hello unlimited food and drinks!!
Here are some of the things I do to stay fit while traveling:
If there is a gym available by all means take advantage of it! Specially when you have a view as wonderful as this one.
Walk, walk, walk, walk, walk! Take a walk tour instead of the bus (This way you won’t feel rushed and you can take your time), it also burns more calories than just sitting down.
3. ADD WEIGHT
Go out and explore, bring a back pack with you and fill it up with water bottles and snacks.
While walking mix in some lunges, do 3 sets of 10-12 (who cares if people are watching), you’ll have a nice booty and stronger legs in the end… win win.
Bust out some arm circles… just make sure you don’t hit some one in the face.
6.AT HOME VIDEO
If you are into Pilates or yoga follow an online video in your room.
My cousin taught me this one, do it for a minute straight .. Your arms will be jelly !(just open and close your hands)
Anything counts, just keep active and after a long day of exploring and walking around you can indulge in something delicious and not feel bad about it… At least it works for me!
