Sunset over the Keys

“You’ll miss the best things if you keep your eyes shut.” – Dr. Seuss
We decided to take a spontaneous trip to Islamorada to watch the sunset since here in Miami you can only see the sun rise.

Florida’s Gulf Coast is the place to be if you want to watch a beautiful sunset. The drive was only an hour an a half making it a perfect day trip. Our first stop was the “Tiki bar” we stayed for about an hour and ordered some cocktails and a platter of calamari, they had live music playing and the view was amazing.

After we were finished  we continued our journey to Islamorada and stopped at The fish company none of us knew what to expect because it was our first time going. As soon as we got there we saw the most spectacular picturesque scenery right in front of us… it was the perfect place to watch the sun setting over the palm trees.
